Terms and Conditions
INTRODUCTION
1. Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. The competition is a game of skill.
2. Visa and the Visa logo are trademarks of Visa Inc, registered in the U.S. and other countries. Visa Inc is in no way connected, affiliated or associated with this promotion.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
3. The survey commences on 3rd October 2011 and concludes on 15th November 2011 at 11:59pm (AEST).
ELIGIBILITY
4. Entry is open to current Southern Cross Telco customers. The Southern Cross Telco account must be active and not be in arrears at the time of the prize allocation.
5. Employees of Southern Cross Telco and their immediate families, and associated companies, their employees and immediate families, fulfilment partners and their employees are not eligible for entry.
ENTRY
6. To enter customers need to complete the online Customer Survey including:
a) Identify themselves with their Southern Cross Telco account number
b) Answer to the competition question: “tell us in 25 words or less, how could we make Southern Cross Telco’s service even better?”
7. Entries must be received by no later than 11:59pm (AEST) on 15th November 2010. Internet charges may apply and are the responsibility of the entrant.
8. Entries are limited to one entry per account number. When more than one entry is received per Account, only the first entry will be considered.
9. The entry must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free from any claims, including copyright or trade mark claims, by other parties.
10. By entering the competition, the winners consent to the publication of their name and/or business name on the Southern Cross Telco website and Southern Cross Telco customer invoice
PRIZE
11. There will be a total of ten (10) winners of the competition. Each winner will receive ONE $500 prepaid Visa Gift Card.
12. The prize must be taken as stated, is not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods or services and cannot be taken in parts.
JUDGING
13. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. A panel of representatives appointed by Southern Cross Telco will judge each valid entry based on literary and creative merit. Final judging will take place at Southern Cross Telco, IBM Centre, Level 10, 60 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006 on 2nd December 2011. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
14. Winners will be notified by email and telephone before 9th December 2010. Winning entries and names of winners will also be published on the Southern Cross Telco website and published on the Southern Cross Telco invoice in the message section. Winners will be required to nominate an address for delivery.
PRIZE DELIVERY
15. Prizes will be delivered at the winner’s nominated address no later than 20 business days after Southern Cross Telco has received the confirmation of address.
16. Southern Cross Telco’s responsibility for the provision of any prize is limited to the prize described in these Terms and Conditions.
17. Once the prize has left our premises Southern Cross Telco is not responsible for any damage sustained or delay during the delivery of the prize.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
18. By entering this Competition all entrants agree to assign all intellectual property rights to the Promoter including present and future copyright in their entry and the publicity materials in all media (including, without limitation, the internet) and whether in existence now or created in the future.
PUBLICITY
19. The winners agree to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion such as photographic shoots and interviews.
PRIVACY
20. Southern Cross Telco collects your information to include you in this competition and will only disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and may contact you in the future in regard to these. We may share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in performing the above or with another company which provides prizes for the competition. VALIDITY OF ENTRIES
21. The Promoter reserves the right to verify validity of entries (including account status and corresponding email address), identity and address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of Southern Cross Telco, whose decision is final. Southern Cross Telco reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
VARIATION OF TERMS
22. The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
